Just confirming that the weather has us beat for tonight at Galaxy Quest (Friday, March 28, 2014), so we will not be meeting tonight. Saturday or Sunday are the preferred nights anyway, so there is still some hope. Can’t say the weather is promising for any night this weekend, but I can promise we’ll watch as conditions change, and shall be in touch again if we could hold a star party.
After lunch today, The Clear Sky Chart suddenly predicted that clouds would largely lift by 8:00pm tonight. Still, with all other sources predicting rain followed by clouds, and so few of us able to meet tonight anyway, this is not the night to attempt a star party.
Who would have guessed that, after missing so many star parties due to bad weather this winter, we might long for the mix of bugs and clear skies at DRA in July?!
