Your ever-hopeful crusaders against clouds hereby declare a star party to be held at Galaxy Quest Observatory in Lincolnville this Saturday night, May 16, at 8:30pm. The odds are it will rain all weekend, but we are scheduled just in case! If we can not meet then, we’ll plan to meet instead next weekend, on Saturday, May 23, also at 8:30pm at Galaxy Quest.
Whatever the whether for this weekend’s star party, tonight, Thursday, May 14, 2015, will be exceptional for astronomy, so be sure to see what you can from your back yards. Galaxies and nebulae will be especially clear, even if bright planets may wiggle in the eyepiece.
