Hello All,

ASTRONOMER INFORMATION PACKAGE: Attached you will find the official
Astronomer Information for the 10th annual Acadia Night Sky Festival with
full details about the festival's observing events. Much of this information
is not available on the general website. The links in the package are
clickable. The official brochures are out and there are now 46 events,
festival wide. You can also see a complete linear listing of all festival
events at: http://www.acadianightskyfetival.org/calendar
<http://www.acadianightskyfestival.org/calendar> /

SIGNUP: The start of this year's Acadia Night Sky Festival
<http://www.acadianightskyfestival.com/> is now only 9 days away. We
currently have 48 astronomers signed up so it's looking like a great
turnout. Maybe we'll see 50 telescopes on Cadillac Mountain again this year.
Due to reserved parking for the general public at Mount Desert Island High
School (See page 4), the number of visitors on Cadillac may be limited to
around 1,500. I doubt that we'll notice the difference.

If you think you will be coming, please take 30 seconds to add your name and
checkoff any of the four observing events. This star party isn't just for
experienced observers, we also need assistants. If you're interested in
coming without a telescope, just to help out, that's great and please sign
up too! See more on the third page under Helpers. As usual, they will be
allowed to go directly up Cadillac Mountain to join with the astronomers on
Saturday night.

If you haven't signed up yet, I encourage you to do so at

Thanks, it should be a great festival.

---Dwight
