[CMAS] Galaxy Quest Star Party Canceled

Hello, CMAS!


CANCELED: STAR PARTY AT GALAXY QUEST

The star party originally planned for today (Saturday, January 18, 2025),
is canceled. Weather forecasts predict that the thick clouds already seen
outside our windows will douse us with rain tonight. The next opportunity
to observe at Galaxy Quest in Lincolnville will be on April 26, 2025,
beginning at 8:00pm.



STAR PARTIES AT BROWER OBSERVATORY

Saturday, January 25, 2025
Saturday, February 1, 2025

Both of these nights will now be at Brower Observatory in Whitefield,
because Foss Hill will not be available. Start times will be announced.
Brower is ready for planet season with many fine planetary telescopes,
including the awesome new Trischiefspiegler, if only the clouds will part
for us!
