Flash Mob at Brower Observatory

Friday, June 15, 2018, after dark
Brower Observatory
341 Jefferson Road (Route 126), Whitefield, ME 04353

Tonight will be one of those rare nights of clear skies, combined with a locally rare combination of dry and steady air. Any object one might want to view will be exceptionally crisp in the eyepiece tonight. Think of it as being as close as we in Maine ever get to having the skies over Arizona visit us, a sort of astronomer’s Brigadoon. The Whirpool Galaxy and Jupiter are on the menu. Bring your eyes, and thoughts of whatever else you’d like to see!
