CANCELLED: Star Party at Foss Hill Observatory

The star party originally scheduled for tonight (Saturday, November 30, 2024) at Foss Hill Observatory in Rome is cancelled. While we expect a beautiful, sunny day, forecasts for the night vary wildly from clear skies through pea soup clouds with snow flurries! It seems to depend upon whether the clouds to our west continue riding the winds currently carryinag them northward or catch those blowing out to sea, and thus over Maine. With apologies if this ends up being the wrong call, overall the forecasts lean toward clouds, so we’ll try again on another night.
