All CMASians are invited to attend a planning meeting at the Gardiner Public Library on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 5:30pm, in the R. P. Hazzard Reading Room. Turn left after the circulation desk and walk through the double doors. While you would be welcome if you showed by surprise, it would be better if you would RSVP.
This continues a series of meetings that, so far, have attracted a dozen core members for planning the club’s future. There is nothing exclusive about this. If you care about the Central Maine Astronomical Society, we want you to join us! We have been discussing such topics as planning alternative activities for cloudy nights, classes for new astronomers, and a more resilient management structure with a regular rotation of volunteer officers.
The meeting is a month away, but the Hazzard Room is only available occasionally. If you know of other good meeting spaces, please let us know.
