Josh will be opening the roof at Foss Hill Observatory tonight, due to the welcome surprise of weather forecasts converging on clear skies with good transparency. Sundown is at 4:00pm, so to see the new observatory or set up your own telescope in daylight, arrive then or a bit earlier. It will be dark enough to start observing by about 5:15pm. We could get in a few good hours of observing before being chilled enough to quit early.
