Saturday at DRA Postponed

In honor of the polar vortex, CMAS is postponing the long-awaited return to the Damariscotta River Association’s Salt Bay Farm, previously announced for this Saturday (February 2, 2019). Anticipated wind chills will be in the single digits, with a high of only 10ºF. That can be rough in an open field, even with access to a warm house nearby. If any intrepid souls are disappointed, and remain intent on observing at DRA despite the cold, send a message to the Presidential Hotline, and we’ll do our best to connect you to any like-minded astronomers who remain happy to meet as originally planned. We will return to DRA soon.
