Brower Observatory

Google Maps Plus Code: 6C5Q+MVV Whitefield, Maine
Colin’s recent report on the classic 1960s Treckerscope being exceptional for planetary observing speaks to CMAS’s plans for this star party. Sure, we’ll look at the faint stuff; but, with Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Venus all in the sky now, this is a great time to belong to a club that has exceptional planetary telescopes. The clouds and surface features are likely far sharper in the club’s telescopes than in whatever most of us have at home, so join us for camaraderie and extraordinary views.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
As is the case with Foss Hill, do not type the observatory’s address into your mapping software! To find the right place, use the link above, or type the Google Maps Plus Code directly into Google Maps. These will take you to the intersection of Route 126 and the access road to the observatory.
