Astronomy is for dreamers… but not fools. Everything planned for tomorrow (Saturday, June 8, 2013) is hereby cancelled, or at least postponed:
No solar viewing.
No Workday at Brower.
No star party.
We’ll be in touch if we can re-organize for another Workday.
Weather radar shows the most massive of clouds and storms headed our way. Currently, it extends from just north of Florida to just south of Portland, Maine. Seems better to cancel early, so folks can be more relaxed about making other plans.
Special thanks to Dwight, for having offered to cruise our way with his solar telescope, and to Colin, for his willingness to have opened the observatory early for Workday, had the weather allowed.
If another work party is organized before your July meeting, I would be interested in participating.
