Every January, CMAS collects the lowest dues of any club in the New England region: $20. Collecting everyone’s dues at the same time of year simplifies the treasurer’s duties. If you just joined and paid dues recently, no worries; you’re fine until next year. Dues cover CMAS’s expenses, such as our membership in The Damariscotta River Association and our Web hosting fees. If you have a credit card or a PayPal account, the quickest, easiest solution is to pay at our Web site, by clicking the “Donate” button on the “Membership” page. (It says, “CMAS Welcomes New Members,” but you may renew there as well.) It is also possible to send a $20 check, payable to “Central Maine Astronomical Society,” to:
