The joke’s on us. Yesterday, we predicted the perfect weekend for star gazing, three nights straight of clear skies, or so all the weather reports promised. Tonight, we’re canceling our December star party, due to thickening clouds.
Tonight as you sit inside sipping hot cocoa, please ponder the topics that you could lead in discussions, or collect the questions about astronomy that you want answered. Other clubs never observe together, yet just by hosting speakers, meet regularly. Let’s combine observing with discussions, the best of both possibilities, to assure that we meet more often in the new year.
Special note: With the Web site’s sidebar now slow to update (see previous posts), it’s possible one might see both this cancellation notice and the sidebar’s insistence that we’ll be meeting. Sorry for any confusion. It’s really cancelled, no matter what the sidebar says.
