On the weekend of February 1st, 2014, there will be no star party Saturday or Sunday night, due to expected clouds, snow and rain in Lincolnville. Everything else is cancelled along with this: no business meeting, no lunch, no dinner. We’ll save those for a time when we can gather for a star party!
The one possible exception is the solar viewing at Merryspring beginning at 10:00am Saturday morning. Jacob lives ten minutes away, and has said that, if the Sun appears, he’ll wow the crowds with his Hydrogen-Alpha scope. If you live nearby, please join Jacob if the weather smiles.
