A sudden change of plans, based on weird, rapidly changing weather forecasts:
There will be a flashmob star party at Brower Observatory tonight, Friday, February 16, 2018, beginning at 6:00pm. Sounds odd, yet the forecast is for this afternoon’s thick clouds to clear at sundown.
The star party scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, February 17, 2018) at Brower, is hereby cancelled. The forecast that used to predict clearing over the weekend now tells us to expect clouds and snow!
