Star Party and Dinner — Saturday, April 6, 2019

Never mind the clouds still to be seen this afternoon. All the forecasts promise clear skies tonight, so, join CMAS for a double feature! While we hope to see everyone for dinner, it’s perfectly fine to attend the star party after eating elsewhere, if that better suits one’s plans.

April 6, 2019

6:00pm — Dinner at Sarah’s Cafe
45 Water St, Wiscasset, ME 04578
(207) 882 7504 — https://sarahscafe.com

7:30pm — Star Party at Great Salt Bay Farm
110 Belvedere Road, Damariscotta, ME 04543

Sarah’s is CMAS’s old favorite, with something for everyone. Famous for its soup buffet, a dinner in itself lavishly stocked with three soups a variety of freshly baked breads. Anything else one might imagine eating at a restaurant, pizza joint, or sandwich shop is also available.

The Damariscotta River Association recently merged with the Pemaquid Watershed Association and changed its name to The Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust, but the location of our star parties remains the same Great Salt Bay Farm where we have always observed. CMAS has long referred to this farm as “DRA.” Same heated building and rest rooms still available, for a comfortable evening even if the cloudless skies turn any bit nippy.
