Arrive 7:00pm or later
6 Beaver Drive, Litchfield, ME 04350
Your host, Lenny Arsenault, is not one to waste a rare night of ideal, cloudless, moonless skies. He and Colin have tweaked the Trischiefspiegler to perfection. CMAS’s latest and most unusual telescope allows the rare combination of high-resolution at high magnification with full brightness. Mars is an ideal target for a telescope of this design and will be high overhead, so enjoy this excellent opportunity to see Mars better than ever before. From Hardscrabble Road, follow the red lights through the right turns leading not far off the road to Night Owl. Arrive as early as 7:00pm to set up and see friends, or arrive later if that better fits your evening. Full darkness by 9:00pm.
