POSTPONING FOSS HILL STAR PARTY
CMAS is canceling the star party originally scheduled at Foss Hill for tonight (Saturday, April 15, 2023) and re-scheduling it for next weekend. Must seem crazy on such a beautiful day, but every forecast predicts dense clouds blocking the skies starting at sundown.

A 7% full moon will set by 10:50pm, making this a great night for both lunar and deep space observing. Craters along the terminator and dim galaxies await under Foss Hill’s dark skies. Come see the new road leading to the site where Foss Hill’s roll-off roof observatory will be built!
