UPDATE:
At today’s business meeting at the Gardiner Public Library, Jim DellaPenna will present his exhaustive research into current best practices in insurance and incorporation of nonprofits. Much of what is best practice for clubs such as ours is simpler and less expensive than we had thought, yet also more protective of the individual members than we had imagined. Join us as we hear Jim’s findings and discuss the club’s future!

CMAS will now be hosting business meetings at the Gardiner Public Library on the first Tuesday of every month. Among the topics for this month’s discussion will be Jim DellaPenna’s recent, extensive research into what would be required if CMAS chose to become a 501(c)3 nonprofit at some time in the future
