All CMASians are invited to attend a planning meeting at the Gardiner Public Library this coming Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 5:30pm, in the R. P. Hazzard Reading Room. Turn left after the circulation desk and walk through the double doors.
Topics to be discussed include:
(1) Ideas for building a more active membership. When clouds prevent star parties on nights that members have committed to CMAS, let’s start substituting other events to end the frequent cancellations. What would you like? Speakers? Workshops? What could you contribute that would interest others? Come to the meeting with your ideas and imagination!
(2) Getting insurance for the club. Many of the locations where we gather now insist that we be insured. We need to hear which of two possible routes to becoming insured CMAS’s members would prefer.
