Today is the first day that we in Maine may see Comet Panstarrs 2011L4. The Sun sets at 5:38pm. The comet will be where the Sun was, skimming the horizon until it, too, sets at 6:33pm. The star party scheduled for Galaxy Quest this Saturday, February, 9, at 7:00pm, is hereby canceled due to the weather. The big storm coming our way looks too scary, regardless of whether it dumps ten inches or two feet of snow.
