Brower Star Party: Seeing Saturn

We’re on for tonight, with most weather forecasts predicting clear skies. Because it’s so warm and summery, we’re going to start early, at 7:00pm, the better to catch Saturn as it emerges from the dusk, before it settles below the western treetops. Saturn is in an especially interesting position now relative to the Sun. Its rings are casting wide shadows onto the surface of the planet, making them appear unusually pronounced. It won’t be half as much fun unless you are there, and Brower’s planetary telescopes are likely better than anyone has at home, so join us!
