DRA Star Party: Not Tonight!

So, you’ve noticed that the Clear Sky Chart, MeteoBlue, and most of the weather forecasts predict clear skies at Damariscotta tonight (Saturday, January 13, 2018)? A few of us die-hards discussed this, and we’re chickening out anyway. Clouds don’t always blow away as early as promised, yet along with tonight’s eventually clear skies come rapidly dropping temperatures and significant, single-digit wind chills. The field may remain muddy long into the night, or, along with the roads, become dangerously icy. All told, we decided we’d rather stay home and empty the water from our flooded basements. Here’s hoping all is dry elsewhere, and that the weather next Saturday (January 20, 2018), will be unquestionably suitable to a star party at DRA!
