Dark Sky Maine is inviting all of Maine’s astronomy clubs to attend its meeting via Zoom on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 7:00 PM. Zoom link for the meeting:

On the agenda is a screening of the movie, “Defending the Dark,” by Tara Roberts Zabriskie. A trailer for this film can be seen at:

The clubs will also discuss aiding Dark Sky Maine in hosting star parties. Organizations frequently call, requesting private parties for their associates. With enough volunteers spread throughout Maine, we could increase this valuable opportunity for public outreach.
