A helpful update:
To ease your finding tonight’s star party (Saturday, May 13, 2023) at Alna Center Station of the Wiscasset, Waterville, and Farmington Railway, look for the orange cones marking the gravel access road at its intersection with Alna Road. These will be easier to see when coming from Alna Meetinghouse, when they will be on the right.
If approaching from the fire station, drive slowly and find Alna Schoolhouse on the left, a white building topped by a distinctive schoolbell tower on its roof. Just after that, as the road dips below a slight rise, the orange cones will become suddenly visible on the left.
